Birth Was Never Meant to Be Walked Alone

Pregnancy, labor, and birth are some of the most transformative moments in a woman's life. While every birth is unique, one thing remains true: no mother was meant to carry this journey alone.

Every family is different, and every birth unfolds in its own way. My role is to meet you where you are throughout your journey into parenthood.

Essential Birth Package

This is my base Birth Doula package for pregnancy, labor, delivery, and fresh postpartum.

Before Birth

  • 1.5 hour consultation that does not obligate you to hire me

  • 2 prenatal visits

  • Creation of your Birth Plan and Postpartum Plan together at one of the prenatal visits

  • I will teach you comfort measure techniques for you and your partner to use

  • Education on birth, protocol of your birthing location, etc; as well as referrals to local Childbirth Classes

  • Business hour text, call, and email availability until 38 weeks, when I will start the 24/7 on-call period until birth

  • While on-call, I won’t go more than a 2 hour drive from your place of delivery

During Labor

  • Attendance at your birth

  • Hands-on labor support, comfort measures, encouragement, and advocacy

  • Photo/video on my phone taken throughout labor & delivery if labor permits

  • 2 hour stay with you after delivery at your place of birth

  • On the very low chance that an emergency prevented me from being able to be at your birth, a backup doula acquired by me personally would be provided to you

After Birth

  • 1 postpartum visit within two weeks after birth

  • Referrals to local resources like lactation consultants, pelvic floor therapy, and more

Tuck In Service
$175.00

This is an extra 2 to 3 hours, added to my complementary 2 hour stay after birth at your place of delivery. I’m here to help you and your family get situated with your new addition in the comfort of your own bed, even if you go home a different day than you birthed. This is still available with homebirths! I will just leave 4 hours after your birth instead of 2 (and take care of things even if you go to sleep).

Tuck-in service includes:

  • Arriving at your home with you when you’re first released from the hospital or birthing center

  • Unloading your bags from the car

  • Starting a load of laundry

  • Preparing you a warm meal

  • I provide sitz bath herbs for you to use then or at a later date to promote healing and relaxation

  • Making sure you can shower and get comfy

  • Settling your older kids in if needed

  • Light tidying

  • Taking care of any tasks that were unfinished when you left for delivery

  • Helping with any adjustments or initial breastfeeding help with your own pillows

  • Magnesium lotion foot massage if desired

  • Only leaving once everything you’re worried about (and you) are taken care of

Maternity Photoshoot
$250.00

For my clients that I am serving as their doula for this pregnancy.

Includes:

1.5 hour shoot. At least 10 edited photos delivered digitally to you, taken a month or two before delivery, with up to one outfit change. Small groups only (mother and immediate family).

Standalone Services

For families who need support in one specific area.

Birth Plan Consultation
$65.00

There is so much information to wade through to prepare for birth. I take a holistic approach and look at your pregnancy, birth, and beyond as a whole. If you’d like someone with knowledge on the whole process of birth and a list of local resources to help you make informed decisions, I’d be happy to meet with you! I encourage you to bring your birth partner and a list of questions.

This is included if you’ve hired me as your birth doula!

Includes a 2 hour visit where we’ll discuss:

  • Your dreams and desires for this birth

  • Where you’d like to deliver

  • How to find a care provider you align with

  • Childbirth education classes

  • Local resources

  • Different labor management options

  • Your plan for postpartum support

  • Answers to your questions (or questions you might not know you should be asking!)

  • and much more!

Registry Assistance
$50.00

Feeling overwhelmed trying to figure out what you do and don’t need for your new baby? Don’t worry! I’m here to help.

This includes:

  • A consultation to go over different needs and options

  • Helping you know what’s essential and loved by other moms

  • Knowing what to look for in products

  • Choosing what’s best for you and your family

  • Accompanying you to the store or creating the actual online registry with you

Maternity Photoshoot
$300.00

Same as the add-on shoot, but for clients that I’m not serving as their doula.

Includes:

1.5 hour shoot. At least 10 edited photos delivered digitally to you, taken a month or two before delivery, with up to one outfit change. Small groups only (mother and immediate family).

Birth Is Only The Beginning

Continue your journey with The First 40 Days Recovery Experience.

While so much attention naturally shifts to caring for your newborn, mothers deserve to be cared for, too.

I believe postpartum is not a season to simply "get through." It is a time for healing, nourishment, rest, and gentle support.

Inside The First 40 Days you'll discover:

  • “We were extremely happy with Kaitlyn! ... We truly felt cared for and understood every step of the way. We couldn’t imagine our birth experience without her. Kaitlyn helped make Benji’s arrival such a positive and empowering moment for our family!”

    Guess Family

  • “...Kaitlyn was an absolute joy to work with — compassionate, supportive, and professional every step of the way. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to any expecting parent looking for knowledgeable, caring, and unwavering support throughout the entire journey.”
